Summary:
Business Planning is a process that helps organizations to allocate human, financial and material resources effectively to meet business goals.

All types and sizes of organizations - in government, private and not-for-profit sectors - need to engage in business planning to ensure that their strategic priorities, processes, people and systems are aligned.

This course provides an overview of the integrated planning lifecycle, and identifies key success factors in the implementation of business planning processes in organizations. We review core planning principles including risk management and performance measurement, and focus on the requirements of operational plans, which can be used to support day-to-day decisions throughout the year.
