Summary:
This course is designed to provide a more advanced level of knowledge to application architects that are charged with designing message queuing-based infrastructures and applications. The course includes a brief introduction to asynchronous versus synchronous applications. You will learn how to integrate MQ into point-to-point, publish/subscribe, and brokered applications. IBM's dynamic e-business models, including the WebSphere family of products are discussed from an integration standpoint. Architects will learn how to build, test, and deploy MQ-based applications, and the tools needed to accomplish this. Programming patterns for WebSphere/MQ applications are discussed in detail.

  • WebSphere/MQ Support pacs and add-ons
  • WebSphere/MQ Clustering and Queue Share Groups for high availability
  • Business integration and Business process management (WMQI, WPM)
  • B2B processing (WebSphere Partner Agreement Manager)
