Summary
Advanced Android Programming gives experienced students instruction and practice with advanced topics in developing apps for Android devices. Students will adhere to best practices and utilize new approaches for working with Android JellyBean 4.4. Guided stepbystep as well as "fromscratch" exercises allow students to practice developing multiple apps and to feel confident with the material.
Prerequisites
The ANDROIDINTRO course is required, or its equivalent. Attendees should be familiar with basic Android building blocks, such as Activities, Services, Provider and Receivers. They should be able to create a basic Android UI using dragndrop and XML layouts, understand application lifecycle, and should have working experience with Eclipse and the Android SDK tools.
