This course begins with a review of the basic JCL parameters and moves into additional parameters and functions of JCL including condition codes, concatenating data sets, JES statements, procedures, and utilities.
Three to six months of previous experience is strongly recommended. A general understanding of the mainframe environment is assumed (familiarity with TSO/ISPF, submitting jobs and reviewing job output).
