AIX 7.1 System Administration I

This course teaches basic and advanced topics AIX Administration. The operating system will be AIX 7.1. The course is taught on an IBM AIX system.
Student should have completed the AIX Fundamentals course or have equivalent experience using AIX.

  • Backup and Restoration concepts
  • Understand how to implement system and network security
  • Managing and Scheduling Processes
  • Understand hot to configure the network
  • Create basic workload partitions (WPARs)
