Architecture for the Agile Team

This course examines the Agile team and their contribution to and involvement in the architecture needs of Agile projects. It is a mixture of lectures and exercises. The lectures provide instruction on the concepts and open up meaningful discussions; the exercises have students work through a case study to help deepen their knowledge. Beginning with the foundations of Agile, the need for architecture is discussed looking at how the two relate, along with the challenges each pose on the other. Agile encourages a cultural shift for the manner in which work is done, emphasizing collaboration across boundaries. Exploring industry practices and recommendations, each team member will be afforded the opportunity to identify and promote the ways in which their role can improve results for Agile work.
