Training Summary
Students will learn how to program using IBM Assembler Language Code (ALC). They will learn ALC instructions including packed and binary arithmetic, branches, data macros and shifts, and logical instructions. I/O macros and assembler instructions to establish addressability, Job Control Language (JCL), program/system deployment and help format listings will also be covered. This course will also introduce the student to core dumps, testing and debugging techniques, and the Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF) Editor.
