Assembler Language Coding (ALC) Programming Tools

Summary
Students will learn basic tools used in the Assembler Language Code (ALC) work environment. The Job Control Language (JCL) overview will familiarize the employees with the commonly used features of JCL and to provide guidelines for processing ALC jobs. Students are provided with basic International Business Machines (IBM) mainframe concepts and utilities effective when testing ALC application code, as well as, given an overview of the mainframe tool, Environment for Developers and Operations (Endevor) used as the source code and release management for IBM mainframe using z/Operating System (z/OS).
