Joey Hobbs was born in New Zealand, but moved to the Bay Area, as he puts it, "compelled by the technical challange that we're trying to solve here at Quid." Their mission? Well, they refer to their product as an "intelligence platform" and their goal is have users understand really large amounts of unstructured data.
The focus of Joey's talk are the core technological advancements, that he believes Quid is making, and that has to do with graph theory.
He begins with an overview of graphs, provides common examples of graph theory, and shows you what Quid does under the hood (with an emphasis on what it does differently). He ends with a demonstration using Quid.
