Comprehensive Oracle PL/SQL

PT27250
Training Summary
The course provides a comprehensive coverage of Oracle’s PL/SQL, the procedural language extension to SQL. PL/SQL is used to write stored procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers. PL/SQL will be of particular interest to individuals developing applications in a client-server or multi-tier environment. Commonly used predefined packages provided with the Oracle DBMS are examined. Discussions include how these packages could be used as part of in-house applications. Additional PL/SQL features such as overloading programs, collections (arrays), bulk processing and autonomous transactions are also presented. Coding examples and workshops serve to reinforce the material presented in class. This course can be taught for any Oracle version.
