Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 extends Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003, providing the most comprehensive access infrastructure for deploying and managing any custom or packaged Windows application. This course provides the necessary foundation to fully utilize the power of Citrix Presentation Server. This course builds on existing knowledge of the Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server platform and covers installation and administration of Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. Students receive in-depth training on using the management console for Presentation Server 4.0, configuring a Presentation Server 4.0 farm and individual server settings, managing licensing through the License Management Console, administering Presentation Servers, deploying applications using Presentation Server 4.0 and providing a secure web access solution with Presentation Server 4.0.
Prerequisites
Candidates for this course must be able to demonstrate experience of Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server. A course attendance certificate for one of the CTX-122x series of courses is a pre-requisite for booking this course. It is recommended that students have experience administering Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environments.
