Training Summary
Class will be hands-on, lab oriented with students performing various tasks to exercise material covered. Experience with SPUFI, the SQL programming environment at the site and a compiled language such as COBOL is assumed. Performance labs using EXPLAIN are performed by the student to provide practical experience in assessing and resolving performance issues.

This course is designed for programmers and other technical personnel experienced in using SQL from a compiled language such as COBOL who require additional training and knowledge using DB2 in the zOS mainframe environment.This should not be the first DB2 / SQL programming experience for the student.
