Training Summary
This course is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge to create and maintain database objects using Db2 for z/OS. They will learn basic and advanced SQL in order to code queries. The student will also use Db2 utilities to maintain Db2 objects. Students will use application program techniques including program preparation and bind, as well as application performance considerations. This course includes features up to and including version 12 of Db2 for z/OS.
Prerequisites
Before taking this class, students should be familiar with relational database concepts, and have experience using TSO/ISPF, SPUFI and JCL.

This course is intended for entry to intermediate level or future Db2 database administrators or application programmers who need to acquire the fundamental skills required to effectively utilize Db2 for z/OS.
