This class is designed to teach DB2 professionals the components of data sharing; how these components interact with OS/390 system services; and how to monitor and tune these mechanisms.
Prerequisites
The course assumes that students have a strong DB2 data sharing background, including knowledge of DB2 non-data sharing performance tuning, and general principles of system and database administration. Production data sharing experience is highly recommended.
