Designing Cisco Networks

This course will teach students basic network design theory. Through the use of case studies, the students will learn how to design a high-performance, scalable, secure network that meets a customer's specifications. The case studies step students through evaluating a customer's existing network, performing a needs-analysis with short-term and long-term goals in mind, and designing a network to meet those needs.
Students taking this course should be familiar with basic internetworking terms and technologies. Students are encouraged to complete an Introduction to Data Communications course prior to taking Designing Cisco Networks.
