This course introduces the concepts and technologies of Web Services. This course will introduce the student to Web Services and how to create and use those services. Focus is on understanding the technology and its practical use with Web Services. This course also focuses on the Web Services tools and wizards integrated within Rational Application Developer toolset from IBM. This course provides extensive hands-on exercises.
Prerequisites
Students of this course should have Java programming background. This course will use Java examples to illustrate basic concepts, and the student will create several Java programs. Familiarity with XML is a plus.
