Learn to understand what is involved in developing all major sections of the California state feasibility-analysis documents, Stage Gate 1 Business Analysis (S1BA) and Stage Gate 2 Alternatives Analysis (S2AA) documents, using the most recent format template issued by the California Department of Technology). Walkthrough and practice developing the business case and alternative solutions analysis through classroom exercises, and examples of successful, approved documents in the recent past. Special focus will be given to understanding how to convey the necessity for the new solution using actual examples from your organization’s own business needs and requirements. Through a mix of lectures, quizzes and client-tailored exercise sessions, students will gather the information necessary to enable a more effective skills transfer within a relevant, real-world context.
