This workshop uses open source tools to learn the fundamentals of identifying network security vulnerabilities and how to resolve them Any compromise of your organization's data can lead to a direct financial loss, theft of proprietary data, criminal or civil liability, and a loss to your reputation; this represents a significant risk to your business.With the rapid increase in the number of hackers and hacker tools, the increasing complexity of IT systems and networks and with the continuous announcement of new security vulnerabilities in operating systems, application software, and network devices, every organization and business must consider itself to be under constant attack.In order to defend themselves against these attacks, IT staff must have an informed and current understanding of the present-day methodologies, tools, and vulnerabilities, which allow these attacks to occur.
