Summary
The IBM PureFlex System is a new category of computing that combines multiple server architectures, networking, chassis, storage, and system management capability into a single integrated system that is easy to deploy and manage. The IBM Flex System Power Compute Nodes - Virtualization and Management Hands-on Labs is an intermediate lab that is designed to help individuals gain the required knowledge and skills necessary to manage and maintain the IBM Flex System Power Compute Nodes at a basic level. This hands-on lab exercise course will focus on the configuration of a PureFlex Power Systems compute nodes. You will use a virtual sever creation wizard in the FSM to create a virtual server and exploit the automatic storage configuration option when creating a virtual server. Virtual server management operations will be executed as well as generating a functioning AIX virtual server. If you are enrolling in a Self Paced Virtual Classroom or Web Based Training course, before you enroll, please review the Self-Paced Virtual Classes and Web-Based Training Classes on our Terms and Conditions page, as well as the system requirements, to ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for this course.http://www.ibm.com/training/terms
