Introduction to Control-M & Control-M/Restart

Training Summary
This course is designed to give the student a basic knowledge of Control-M, an automated batch scheduling system, and Control-M/Restart*, an automated job restart facility for distributed and mainframe platforms. The student will learn how to define job schedules, monitor job activity, perform reruns and restarts, and how to use the powerful facilities provided by the user interface. (*Control-M/Restart was formerly called Control-R)
Prerequisites
Before taking this course, students should have a basic knowledge of MVS JCL and TSO/ISPF.
