Training Summary
In this course the student will learn the fundamentals of the JavaScript programming language, learn how to write event-based programs, and save user-specific information in the form of a cookie. This course points out differences in Netscape and Microsoft document object models and discusses ways to write browser independent scripts. The student will leave with a working knowledge of JavaScript and its applications and with the ability to use DHTML for more effective page design.
Prerequisites
The student must have prior experience with a programming language such as C, C++, or Java. The student must also be comfortable with HTML page markup and have a working knowledge of Windows 95.
