Introduction to XML

Summary
This course aims to tell you about XML (eXtensible Markup Language). Students begin by defining the term markup and how it relates to generalized markup. By the end of this course the student will have a conceptualizing of XML and why it is needed.
Prerequisites
Students should have general web development knowledge. HTML and DHTML are recommended but not required, as is experience with a scripting language like Vbscript or Javascript. Database knowledge is also helpful.
