Java Database Access for Mainframe

Java applications running on the Mainframe require special skills. This hands-on course is designed to teach the student the Java language, the code Java framework, and the IBM Java framework. The focus of the class is on practical skills and best practices for working with the Mainframe. Included is extensive coverage of the IBM Java API, working with JCL and working with the unique IBM data types (e.g. Packed-Decimal). This class will proved extensive experience for the students working with the IBM Rational Developer for z Systems.
Before taking this course, students should have Java Mainframe experience.
