This course provides knowledge and skills necessary to acquire, install, configure, and support Linux. It will address replacement of commercial products and services with free software alternatives. It will address setting up accounts, integrating with other systems, customizing the Linux kernel and troubleshooting configuration problems.
Before taking this course, students should have Unix experience.
