Training Summary
This class will demonstrate the installation and use of KDB and other Linux debugging tools. Students will learn the intimate details of how the kernel works internally, so that they are able to debug the Linux kernel and its modules. Topics include kdb, gdb, kgdb, ptrace, strace, system calls, and /proc. Class will consist of lecture and hands-on lab exercises.
Prerequisites
Students must have a solid working knowledge of Linux installation, commands, and file system architecture
