This half-day course covers the essentials of using Lync 2010 for business. You will learn how to initiate and answer Lync voice calls, how to engage in instant messaging with colleagues, and how to set up, conduct and participate in online meetings.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students should be familiar with using personal computers and have experience using a mouse and keyboard. They should also be comfortable with the Windows environment as Windows 7 is used in the classroom. Background in any of the following is also helpful but not required: Microsoft Outlook 2007 or 2010, Outlook Web Access or Outlook Web App, Office Communicator 2007, instant messaging, online meetings, or softphone usage
