This course is a mix of in-depth instructor led training and hands-on labs where you will learn about the new features, server roles and components included in Operations Manager 2007. This class begins with an introduction to Operations Manager 2007 followed by a detailed architectural discussion that explains how to design your Operations Manager 2007 environment details how all of the communication occurs between components. Next students will walk through an advanced installation of Operations Manager 2007 and learn how to install the database, Root Management Server, additional Management servers and deploy agents. In addition to the known installation steps, this class will also demonstrate the additional, often undocumented setup steps involved in getting Operations Manager 2007 functioning as expected in their environments detailing the specific hot fixes and updated Management Packs.
