-Focuses primarily on creating Windows and Web (ASP.NET) applications, using the .NET Framework class libraries, and writing Visual Basic code-Introduces ADO.NET-Should be preceded by Part 1, ideally with some hands-on work between courses-The course .NET Programming with VB combines Parts 1 and 2 into a single, more intensive, 5-day course-Programmers who will work primarily in C# should take .NET Programming with C#, which parallels this course-Any of the .NET Programming courses is a prerequisite to ASP.NET Workshop, ADO.NET Workshop, and Building .NET Components and Web Services-This course covers both Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0) and Visual Studio 2003 (.NET 1.1)
Prerequisites
Students should have taken the Visual Basic.NET Introduction. Programmers with considerable GUI development experience may consider taking the Visual Basic.NET Intensive Workshop.
