Training Summary
While some Linux system administrators only need to know how to configure their systems into an existing local or wide area networks, many system administrators must configure their systems as net-work servers. This course teaches the skills necessary to configure Linux systems as routers, DNS, email, DHCP and NFS servers. It also teaches the participant how to set up Secure Shell, Secure Copy and LDAP. Finally, it describes how both IPv4 and IPv6 function and how to set up networks using both protocols.
Prerequisites
The participant must be familiar with basic Linux system administration concepts and procedures. These skills can be obtained by attending the following ProTech Training course: Linux System Administration.
