This course covers some of the most advanced ways and means of accessing data in an Oracle database. The topics provide skills for working with a multiple tables (or alternatives to tables) in a query, using aggregation and analytic techniques to work with hierarchical data and compute advanced results.The methods available from Oracle for alternative transaction structure and control are covered. Oracle's Flashback technology allows developers to review data as it existed in the past. The numerous Oracle features for utilizing Flashback to review and potentially restore data as it previously existed are all described.

-Skill with GUI interfaces-Data processing background-A thorough understanding of SQL is required to succeed in this class. Persons attending without this will experience difficulty.
