Training Summary
This instructor-led course continues to build on the skills learned in the Microsoft Project 2003/2007 Introduction course and helps students advance their skills using Microsoft Project to plan and track project files. The course focuses on: creating custom tables, view, and reports; using custom fields to perform calculations; using Autofilters and creating custom filters and groups; working with earned value and exporting earned value information to Excel; importing and exporting data; working with master projects; working with resource pools; and using the compare projects utility.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the Introduction to Managing Projects Using Microsoft Office Project course including mastery of: effort-driven and non-effort driven scheduling; task types and the effects upon scheduling; critical path; as well as baselining and tracking project plans.
