Oracle 9i: Programming in JDeveloper

The Java programming language is a robust, object-oriented mechanism for providing true interactive, distributed stand-alone applications and Internet-ready applets. Oracle's JDeveloper product provides wizards and tools that help you develop and deploy Java on all tiers: Java clients in a browser or on the desktop; Java Server Pages and servlets on the web server; business components and Enterprise Java Beans on the application server; and Java stored procedures in the database. Students will learn how to work with, develop and extend Java classes, as well as how to implement Java classes in WWW pages.
Students should have prior programming experience, with a procedural language like C or Pascal. Object-oriented experience, such as C++, is helpful but not required.
