Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g: Build Composite Applications

This course will utilize interactive lecture and case study scenarios to illustrate Business Process Driven SOA using the Oracle Fusion 11g core technology stack, with primary emphasis on the components of SOA Suite 11g. High coverage is given to developing, deploying, and integrating dynamic, composite web services, including BPEL orchestration, human task and work flow, legacy adaptation, and process and activity monitoring (BAM). Additionally, students gain insight on the purpose and functionality of: mediation and marshaling (OSM), security and governance (WSM), naming and registry (UDDI), event driven processing (CEP), and metadata and repository management (MDS), as applicable to general design objectives and execution. The JDeveloper 11g environment is used throughout, although an existing working knowledge of this toolset is not a prerequisite. Sense the focus is on re-using SCA tools and pre-built components, there are no development language prerequisites.
