Training Summary
This class covers the implementation and administration of Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control. Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control delivers centralized management functionality for the complete Oracle IT infrastructure, including systems running Oracle and non-Oracle applications. Class participants will gain knowledge on the installation, configuration and monitoring of the Oracle Grid Control framework. The student will also learn how to monitor and manage Oracle and non-Oracle applications. Hands-on lab exercises help students learn how use the robust features of Grid Control to manage, monitor, and administer their data center.
Prerequisites
-The student must be familiar with Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g databases -Understanding and use of fundamental Linux commands (such as ls and cp) and a Linux text editor -Students should have general understanding of the Application Server -Familiarity with Application Server Control or Database Control -Good knowledge of Linux would be definite plus -Oracle Database 10g: Administration -No experience with SANs is required.
