Oracle SOA Suite 11g

PT7870
Summary
This course provides a thorough, comprehensive understanding of the Oracle Fusion 11g core technology stack, with primary emphasis on the components of SOA Suite 11g. High coverage is given to developing, deploying, and integrating dynamic, composite web services, including BPEL orchestration, human task and work flow, legacy adaptation, and process and activity monitoring (BAM). Additionally, students gain insight on the purpose and functionality of: mediation and marshaling (OSM), security and governance (WSM), naming and registry (UDDI), event driven processing (CEP), and metadata and repository management (MDS), as applicable to general design objectives and execution. Finally, an intensive and interactive overview is presented on service layering, coupling, propagation, encapsulation, scoping, and delegation, the ingredients necessary to convert a collection of disparate, service-enabled entities into responsive, scalable, and productive enterprise architecture. This course is over 60 percent lab material. The JDeveloper 11g / ADF development environment is used throughout, although an existing working knowledge of this toolset is not a prerequisite.
