This course is designed as a hands-on guide to IBM's WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD). The course will help students to understand the WSAD tool and the underlying technologies, such as Java, J2EE, HTTP and XML. If you are familiar with these technologies, but are new to WSAD, the course will provide a general understanding of how everything fits together in a corporate environment
Prerequisites
Students should have some previous programming knowledge and experience in Java is required for this course.

This course is for Java Programmers. The course contains the material for developers interested in creating and maintaining web based systems written in Java and WSAD. This course is not intended to teach Java or the various other technologies used for enterprise web-based applications such as JavaServer Pages (JSP), Servlets, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), HTML, XML, RMI and Corba.
