This course gives an overview of IBM's new Parallel Sysplex Environment for OS/390 - Why it was developed, how it works, what hardware and software it requires and how to migrate to it.

The student should have a basic knowledge of OS/390 MVS concepts and terminology as taught in an OS/390 Skill Pack course.

This is course is intended for IT personnel who are migrating to an IBM Parallel Sysplex environment. The target audience includes operators and operations management, service desk and system support technicians, and application programmers who are responsible for implementing, managing, operating, or programming for the Sysplex.
