Training Summary
This course is aligned with The Standard for Program Management Fourth Edition and structured for rapid understanding of the most important program management content from a holistic perspective covering each program domain: Strategy Alignment, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Governance, and Life Cycle Management as well as Program Activities. Program management best practices are conveyed in a start-to-finish manner just as a real program is implemented. A twenty question Pre-Course multiple choice exam will be given the morning of the first day plus a multiple choice retention exam will be given at the end of each class day with a 50-question final exam to reinforce content presented. The exercises contribute to understanding the fundamental knowledge needed to pass the PgMP certification exam after completing instructor’s suggested self-study protocol. Instruction encompasses a progressive series of proprietary models and exercises for immediate use as a program management practitioner as well as for career development. From a strategic, certification exam passing perspective, must know content is reinforced by examples that enhance comprehension and retention. Proven strategies and techniques used by instructor to pass the PgMP, PMP, and PMI-RMP certification examinations on his first exam attempt will be applied. This holistic, tailored, and agile approach is designed for each participant to discover and close her or his knowledge gaps and fortify confidence with an unwavering expectation necessary for completing the challenging certification process if this is an endeavor of choice.
Prerequisites
Working knowledge of program management methodology and familiarity with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide), Sixth Edition.
