Training Summary
This course introduces basic administration functions involving Ubuntu Server within a Power Systems (PowerVM) ecosystem. In this course students are taught installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting. Students will also learn command line operations, system administration, device management, IBM tools, and system recovery. The course is part of a Linux curriculum path available to students who want to focus on Ubuntu Server. This course provides lectures and hands on labs in an instructor-led course environment, either in a face-to-face classroom or in a live virtual classroom environment (ILO - Instructor Led Online).
Prerequisites
Students would benefit from general knowledge of IBM Power Systems servers and partitions. This can be obtained through attending Essentials of PowerVM (LX024G) .
