Training Summary
The SMPE Workshop course is designed to explain the role of SMPE. The course details the structure and use of SMPE and uses the SMPE commands to highlight how the various processes work. The application of Maintenance is fully explained as are the various SMPE Utilities and reports. A number of workshops are included. These workshops will include defining the CSI zones and UCLIN Processing. Accessing and modifying the SMPE ISPF Panels. Receiving a Function. Applying and Accepting a Function. Receiving Holddata, Receiving and Applying PTFs and dealing with an APAR as well as Applying and Restoring a Usermod, and other Sysmods.
Prerequisites
Attendees should have a minimum of six months as a z/OS or a CICS Systems Programmer.
