It covers software engineering (software development in phases), emphasizing the most error prone aspects, and new methods such as prototyping. Managing project personnel is addressed. Case studies and examples from real projects are presented throughout, and class workshops are used to give practical experience. Tools for risk management, estimating and scheduling are presented.
