We are told to “think outside the box,” yet few of us know how to do that. Research into the creative process shows that successful problem solvers approach creativity and innovation systematically. This course will introduce proven methods to become more efficient and effective at all stages of creative problem solving for innovation: information gathering, analyzing the system at hand, identifying resources, developing useful ideas and solutions, and getting good ideas approved and implemented. Topics include the IDEAS Framework, 6-Hats Thinking, TRIZ and more.
