Summary
This is a formal class consisting of lecture and hands-on labs with Tivoli Systems' Tivoli Workload Scheduler product (TWS). Spending approximately one day each on operations and scheduling, the class focuses on the Maestro GUI interfaces and is suitable for clients running versions 7.x and earlier. The class does not currently address the optional Job Scheduling Console Java interface introduced in 7.0. Our clients often find that, besides fundamental Maestro training, the class offers an opportunity for users from different business units or functional groups to discuss issues affecting broad areas of their batch applications.
Prerequisites
The only prerequisite is an understanding of the product's role in the attendee's enterprise.
Duration
2 Days/Lecture & Lab
Audience
The class is appropriate for new users as well as those familiar with the product but who have not previously attended the class and would benefit from a formal run-through of the basic product features, architecture and interfaces.
