Training Summary
This course consists of three classes designed to acclimate users to the IBM mainframe environment using the z/OS operating system. The first potion is lecture with review and/or demonstration. It is designed to give a common base of terminology for the following two sections and includes information on the most current hardware configurations for z/Enterprise systems. The TSO and ISPF course of training is lecture with instructor guided hands-on exercises in using the command prompt and graphical user interface for the operating system. The most current ISPF options and commands are covered and documented. The final portion introduces the student to the MVS/JCL language used for production processing using lecture and instructor guided hands-on labs.
