Project Scope, Risk, Time and Cost Management

PT7411
Training Summary
Defining "What you need to do" is the toughest part of any project. That is why the project charter and project scope are so important. Together, they set the tone for the entire project. In addition to setting the tone for the project, managing project risks is essential. 93% of all run-away projects did little or no risk management during the project. This course begins by providing the foundations for a successful project through defining and managing the scope of a project and minimizing the risks associated with it. The project schedule is one of the most visible pieces of the project plan, and it is the key to keeping a project on track. Through group discussions, workshops and real world examples, participants learn how to establish realistic schedules that use the project team's time effectively and help the project manager monitor and control the time aspect of the project.
