Training Summary
This course will integrate a combination of instructor-led discussions and interactive workshops to demonstrate the capabilities of Web Service within ecommerce applications. This seminar will illustrate the building, testing and deployment of Web Services, explore their fundamental capabilities, utilization of SOAP and XML, structure of SOAP messages, role of WSDL (Web Services Descriptive Language), use of SAAJ and JAX-RPC APIs, use of UDDI registries and the role of JAXR for accessing registries, the development of JavaBeans and EJBs as Web Services using the BEA WebLogic Workshop IDE development tool.Additionally, this course will illustrate the use of the AquaLogic Interaction Development Kit (IDK) for development and deployment of Web services.
Prerequisites
Each student should have a basic knowledge of interactive Web applications and have been exposed to the Java programming language.
