WebSphere Scripting with Jython

This course is designed for WebSphere administrators who want to automate WebSphere administration tasks using the Jython programming language. The course begins with an introduction to the Python programming language to provide students with a solid background in Jython the Java implementation of python. With the python background in place the course examines JMX and the WebSphere scripting architecture and shows students how to use the WebSphere administration objects to perform common administration tasks. The course wraps up with a case study of an automated WebSphere troubleshooting framework written in Jython.
